THIRD SUNDAY - GMAIL, TWITTER, AND POWERPOINT (August 11, 2013)

In our third Sunday of our class, we made an account in Gmail and twitter. We had fun in adding friends and sending messages to each other. We exchanged emails so that it will be very easy for us to send mails. We are given opportunities to meet new people and friends in our own and also in the other diverse communities across the world. By doing so, we can become friends or fans of the profile, and will be updated on current events, specials, and other essential information that the masses would like to share. Since we have done with our MS Word Exercises, we sent it to our instructor that day using the Gmail instead of printing. Just a bit of seconds, all our activities has been sent.
We had also experience the MS PowerPoint though I have already knowledge on it and created numbers of slides for reporting and projects. Microsoft PowerPoint is such a great tool used for so many things. You can create a slide for a report of presentation that will be easily to discuss and have very nice colourful effects and transitions that can motivate and caught attention to your viewer. You can put videos and music on it. Just about anything! It is very fun, creative, and useful.
As we all know, online testing can bring a lot of benefits to assessment: time-saving, flexible and economical. One application I learned was the use of Wondershare QuizCreator which you can create an online test to measure the knowledge of the takers. For making an interactive Flash test, it can be one of the most suitable ways. Especially to my job, it is really useful to me in testing my pupils. Aside from its big time-saving, it can minimize the cheating between them because they have to focus to their questions. Another very good thing about it, you can also randomized the questions and the option to every takers so there’s no need for them to ask questions to their seatmates. Besides, there will be allotted time to each questions. You can put as many questions as you want up to 9 question styles. After they answered the questions, they are going to submit it and they will know their result just a bit of second after clicking the submit so less burden to the teachers or the testers to check the test. I am so glad our instructor taught me about this. Very helpful and motivating!
